The short answer is yes. We take the time to understand our clients' personal travel styles and preferences to deliver travel experiences that exceed their expectations. Fees are non-refundable and must be agreed upon and paid prior to planning, should you choose to proceed after the initial discovery conversation.

We kindly request a minimum lead time of 90 days for all trips, due to the highly customized nature of our services. We recommend starting to plan most trips a minimum of 6 months prior to your desired travel dates to ensure the best availability and rates. For destinations and experiences that are higher in demand like African safaris or expedition cruises, we suggest starting to plan a year in advance.

In addition to our one-time planning fees, hotels, cruise lines, and resorts include a built-in commission in their pricing whether or not you work with a travel advisor. When you book through us, you gain access to our exclusive benefits and preferred partnerships, while we receive a commission from the supplier for managing the booking on your behalf. This commission is paid by the vendor and comes at no additional cost to you — and thanks to our relationships, it often means preferred rates, added amenities, and better availability. Our planning fee ensures that every recommendation is made solely with your best interests in mind, based on what’s truly the right fit for your trip — never on commission size.

We specialize in highly personalized service and curated travel plans, partnering primarily with 4 and 5-star hotels and luxury cruise/tour operators that we trust to deliver a seamless experience for our clients. This means we typically work with starting budgets of $600-$1,000+ per person, per day. This range provides us with a starting point and can be discussed or changed later. Each trip is different, and the cost varies based on the complexity of your trip. We are happy to consult with you on what you can expect for the trip you have in mind.

Unfortunately we cannot redeem points or miles on your behalf for any bookings. In cases where you choose to redeem points or frequent flyer miles, we will not be able to assist with changes to your bookings. We are happy to add your loyalty numbers to any reservations so that you are able to earn points on your stays and flights where available.

Our primary source of communication is via email. We kindly ask that you send all questions and communications via email, as this helps us keep track of all the details relating to your trip. We aim to respond to any emails within 1 business day. If you prefer to chat over the phone, we're happy to schedule a call by appointment. You can always find a link to our calendar in our email signature.

All travel documents and itinerary information will be provided to you in the Trip Plans App. (Available in the Apple and Android app stores.) We do not provide hard copies of travel documents, but your itinerary will be available to download as a PDF, should you wish to print it yourself.

In the event that items are impacted by circumstances beyond our control, we are happy to be a resource and will be available to you 24/7 while you are away traveling for any emergencies.

That being said, we also typically work with in-destination partners who will have emergency service and customer service available to you in the same time zone. Contact information will be provided to you as part of your digital itinerary documents, prior to departure.

Wildlife experiences are some of the most memorable parts of a trip, and I love helping clients find ones that feel meaningful. This is also an area of travel with a lot of grey area, though, so before I recommend or book any animal interaction, I do my own research into how it's run. Here's where I land:

Dolphins
Swimming and touch programs with dolphins are hugely popular, especially with families, and I understand the appeal completely — they create wonderful memories. Based on my own research into how these programs operate, it's not something I choose to book. These programs often ask dolphins to perform behaviors that aren't natural to them. I'm always glad to point you toward wild, in-the-ocean dolphin sightings instead, where the encounter happens entirely on the animals' terms.

Elephants
I don't book elephant riding experiences. I'm happy to arrange sanctuary-style visits — feeding, walking alongside, observing — through operators I can personally verify are focused on the animals' long-term care.

Big Cats
I steer away from cub petting and hands-on lion experiences, and instead look for reserves where you can observe these animals from a respectful distance in a setting built around their wellbeing.

Horses & Camels
I'm happy to book horseback riding and camel trekking, working only with operators who can demonstrate real, verifiable standards of care.

Wild Marine Encounters
For swimming with whale sharks, manta rays, or dolphins in the open ocean, I work only with operators who follow responsible, no-touch protocols and keep a respectful distance. These animals aren't in captivity, but they still deserve to be approached on their own terms.

A Note on Breeding & Conservation
Across all of these, I look for experiences and operators whose priority is genuine conservation — rescue, rehabilitation, and release — rather than breeding programs built to sustain guest interactions over time.
